I doubt that the complete wire would need replacing but that's ultimately your call. I would just make sure that you have an unmelted section of wire to splice onto on each end, solder the new wires in and cover it with heat shrink, tuck it back into the loom if it's still there and you should be all set

Also, since it seems like your Jeep has had some electrical issues in the past, I'd suggest carrying a fire extinguisher. It saved my Jeep

Ok, cool. I'll try to get these wires fixed asap and then I'll update. Yikes! That sounds scary. I can't get a fire extinguisher at the moment, but I'll make sure to get one asap as well. Did your jeep almost catch fire while you were driving or while it was just sitting on a really hot day and it was off? I really want to avoid that. That would be horrible.
