I pulled out the old manual for my 96 Xj and located the fuse section. I am looking for the fuse to the blower motor and related parts (for my heater) and could find anything. Anyone know which one it is? I'm also trying to find it online but if anyone knows or has the link to the diagram I'd appreciate it. Thanks

Thanks a lot for the link. Now please don't judge me but I'm a bit unexperienced with my Jeep. But if I were to borrow another 15 amp fuse from another slot and switch it to another I should be able to test if the original fuse is bad right? Or will I be able to see visual defects through the clear plastic? Bout to go look now, but if you have an answer that would be awesome. And it is slot 25 i'm working out of, since I am trying to replace my blower motor.

 

Actually this is the wrong fuse diagram I need one for the 96 model. lol but I'll try and use this link to find that one.

but, your manual should have it listed. IIRC, Ive found it in my girlfriends 96 manual before.

 

Okay, I must have over looked it because it is right here in my manual... Cavity number 5 is for the blower motor and needs a 30 Amp natural. I'm going to take a look at it now.

Okay, so councils the fuse was bad. But also it was not the fuse it called for. I'm going to the parts store now to pick up a fuse kit. Would it be wise to replace all my fuses even though the are not bad? Or is that a waste of money?
