Fuseable links
So I blew the fused link the connects the fog lights, the radio, door locks, and possibly more things... It's the link that connects to the multifuction relay next to the battery; maybe it's a solenoid, I'm not sure. (where the battery and alternator connect at)
My question is: how many amps are those blowable wires rated for? So I know how big of a fuse to put in a new fused link...

You will strip the good wire and put on a crimp-on butt connector or a crimp-on quick disconnect, then strip both ends of the fuse link segment and put the ring on one end, and either put the other end into the open end on the butt connector or put the mating QD connector on the other (I like to use QD connectors - if it blows again, I don't have to cut anymore harness.) When you're done, there should be no part of the old fusible link wire left - any fusible link wire in that circuit should be new.
I'm trying to find ratings for the fusible link wire by wire gage so I can come up with replacement kits, which will use either mini-ANL (MANL) or MAXI blade fuses instead.

Green is 30 amp and orange is 20 amp. Just replace it with a circuit breaker of that size and not have any trouble with it again.

It was a green wire, and the 30amps is what caused so much smoke lol. I'm going to go the circuit breaker route

When my headlights went out I thought one of my fusible links was bad and I just used a fuse holder and a 25 amp fuse. Then my alt stopped charging come to find out the 60amps through a 25amp fuse doesnt work out so well. Wow way to ramble on.
