Fuses / Radio, HVAC, and Shifter Lights
Hey ya'll, I'm making progress getting this XJ's quirks all figured out but I could use your help again
I've got no power to the radio, HVAC light, shifter light and I think whatever is above the cigarette lighter. I think there is a 4wd light in there and I don't know what else.
I've checked a couple interior fuses but holding my head under the dash puts a kink in my brain shunt and I can't stay down there long.
Any of those empty slots in the panel look like they need a fuse?
Maybe this isn't a fuse problem and I should be looking elsewhere?
Any thoughts, ideas, and suggestions are welcome

Checked the Radio, Dome, and Inst Lps fuses. All tested good. Also added a 10a fuse to Power Clock. No change.
Turn signals are good except for front driver. I assume that's a bulb and I picked up a new bulb up today. Will try to change it tomorrow if I have time but I think that is separate. Blower motor works great.

1. You don't have a clock, if you did there would be 2 buttons on the clock panel
2. Did this just occur?
3. I could have sworn that the indicators you mentioned are on the panel located to the left of the instrument cluster and that the panel on the right is a blank panel.
4. Check power to the fuses

2. Just bought it like this. But I believe it was working right before PO parked it a couple months ago as still had the aux cord in the cd player etc.
3. Maybe so, is the 4x4 light to the left near the check engine light?
4. I did check Radio, Dome, and Inst Lps. All had 14.6volts.
And now the blower isn't working. This Jeep is going to make me crazy.

Alright I don't know if maybe the truck has to be warmed up for the defrost to work but the blower is working on heat now anyways.
Is there a common ground that the radio and HVAC lights, and shifter lights use?

No ideas?
Is there any other circuits/fuses that could be relevant? Where would you look next if you were having this problem? Common ground point behind the dash?
Is there absolutely no connection at all between the radio and shifter light and hvac control lights therefore this is at least 2 separate issues? These three things worked when parked, so I assumed they were connected.

The HVAC light could be inop due to a bad bulb and aftermarket radios usually have a fuse on their harness. Remove instrument panel to gain access to the light bulb and then remove radio and check the fuse.
ETA: you don't have a shift light because the vehicle has an automatic transmission...lol
so to sum things up
you don't have a shift light
you don't have a clock
that panel on the right side of the instrument cluster is a blank panel
the HVAC bulb is probably just blown
the fuse on the radio harness is probably blown
your blower motor only seems to work on heat
