Gas tank straps tight enough?
I’ve got the gas tank back installed with new j bolts and painted straps and I’m trying to get it back on the road today, but I’m not sure how tight the j bolts should be. The tank feels secure and can’t wiggle around but the nuts are still turning easily, I don’t want to over tighten them and dent the tank but I also don’t want the tank falling off. Also should the passenger side j bolt be at an angle like mine is? Thanks in advance.

Not sure I'd mix the threadlocker with the antiseize. :} I wouldn't worry about the strap not being bent enough. If you're worried though, you could probably bend it with a pair of vice grips.
