Default Gathering info for axle swap

I have a 93 cherokee. 4.0, manual transmission. My jeep still has factory gears in the factory axles (8.25 rear). I'm running 31's right now, but will be getting 33x10.5's next time, so I'd like to swap my axles for that of a newer, automatic xj.
If I was to find a post 96, automatic cherokee, would I be able to swap the axles directly with little or no modifications?
Thanks in advance.

Yes, 97-99 will get you a 29 spline 8.25 and a hi-pinion d/30 if they come out of an auto Cherokee they should have a 3.55 to 1 ratio.

Right. But as far as the installation of the axles, is it a direct swap?
