i have a 94 sport with the 4.0. I also have a parts xj that's a 89 renix. I not into idiot lights so i want to swap the gauge clusters. Will all the gauges work ie tac oil charging without rewirein it?

 

Nope. Guages run off signals from engine computer. Two different engine control computers on these years. No other response to this post so I put in my 2 cents. Anyone confirm my suspicions?

i did this on my 96. you need a cluster from a 91-96 and then it will plug straight in. you have to get a Coolant temp sensor, and an oil pressure sensor, your xj already has them but you need the ones made for the gauge. they are both about 15$ each
