Default Gearing Question!!!!!

So I have my jeep lifted 6.5 in. but found out that my diff gears are not combined. Im trying to buy upgraded gearing to 4.11 or 4.56. My tires 33x12.5 thinking of going bigger. I dont know if its 30 35 40 44. and i dont know how to find out I know my rear axle is original but my front axle is from a later model, I have an 88. I would greatly appreciate the help. Thanks

You probably have either a d35 or c.8.25

if you are going with 33 tires I would do at the least 4.56 gears. I'm upgrading to 33's and might even go 35'5 and going to run 4.88's. Gearing is importand so do some research.
if you have a D35 rear. you dont want to put more stress on it than it already has. It"s just my opinion.

do gear the rear. buy a real axle, 8.25,d44,8.8. the turd of a rear axle has weak tubes, small diameter shafts, tubes that spin, ring and pinion that are small. its great axle for stock 28,29" tires but they cant handle much more the that IF you actually wheel it.

the d35 are the #1 axle that comes into the shop needing repairs
