Well, this is where I'm going to post the pics of my repair work. Here's the first pics after I yanked all of the borked parts.

Just a note on the position on that wooden post: It's standing on the unibody right next to the motor mount. As for the top spot... I swear it was designed for it.

I have the list ready. I just need to go get them. Hopefully I'll only be charged for a full header panel, radiator, and fender.

Bogo weekend at the yard I'm hitting up. Hope they still have that silver XJ there.

Fixed. This vehicle has actually been in 3 different collisions. All of which I made it out with less damage than "the other guy."
1. My dad was driving it on an icy road. He slid into the side of a sedan. Creamed the sedan, only did about 200 to the XJ.
2. I clipped another car changing lanes. Scratched my fender (like $10) and did a few g's to theirs.
3. That last one.

Awesome. I almost want to go demolish a few sedans on my way to work tomorrow just so I can put those on my rig.

See edit. Sounds like a hell of a day... assuming you get away with it.

Remind me not to drive in front of you, lol.

Outside of my work yesterday, an older woman got cut off, but actually got clipped on the front. She was forced onto the sidewalk and into a fire hydrant. The fire hydrant caused a geyser probably about 60ft into the air. The driver who clipped the lady drove away, hope the bastard gets caught.

I got it all fixed. It runs like a charmer, but I've got a rubbing noise that I can't figure out where it's coming from
