Default Getting Rid of the rake

I installed a 6.5 inch lift with 35's on my 96 xj and it has a noticable rake in the front....I was just going to put some spring isolaters in the front...Is there something better i could do to fix the problem that wont put a huge hole in my pocket? Or should i just stick with the isolators?

If you are thinking of putting an offroad bumper and winch on it, you may want to wait. The same thing happened to me with my 4.5" Rusty's lift. I found this very cool Budget Boost kit from Daystar. It had a 1 3/4" front spacer and a 1" lift rear shackle. The BB not only leveled my XJ but, gained me about an inch....so, win win!!

Oh I forgot. The Daystar BB that I bought was $80 and some change shipped to me in Wa. state from Rocky Road Outfitters.

Just an FYI stock factory isolators give you about .75" of lift. I had a spare set so went with them. I figure once I get new front and rear bumper I will do the 1.75" spacer and 1" shackle. With the heavy bumpers will likely look about .6 or so inches anyways.
