just wondering if anybody's running a glasspack on their 4.0...i drove one once with a pack and i think it sounded good but i don't really remember

sounds good..like it better with no muffler though

it sound good, but your teeth will fall out... I had it for about 6 months, and it was just too loud deep and under 2k revs its terrible headache, over 3k revs, sounds like heaven ... I used to love the lil bomb sounds it made when I let go of the accelerator

no way i'm taking my cat off,i just didn't think it would be that loud with a cat

Like a DA I pulled mine off and put on a 24" GP. It sucks!! It's way louder than I thought it would be!! My load is not a DD, so I can deal, but it is very loud. I didn't expect it to be as loud as it turned out, but it's done now, and I have a ton of "other stuff" on the XJ to do list ahead of that. I will be replacing it with a Flowmaster Super 44 off road muffler, but I have to spend some cash on some much more needed repairs!!

GLASSPACKS are GARBAGE get the Flowmaster Super 40 it sounds a whole lot deeper instead of just being annoyingly loud.

if money was no object to me i'd get a $90 muffler but my budget for jeep parts right now is ultra tight

I have a glass pack with a hollow cat, the insides just fell out. It sounds nice but not that loud. Of course I always have the stereo cranked so who knows.
