Going Bigger
I've decided to go with 33's...I have 31's with 3.55 gearing. I looked at the gear ratio in a bronco mag today and I know that for optimum fuel econ. I need 4.11's (gearing). I do about 66 highway miles with a lot of hills...With the bigger tires, will I, or could I, break an axle....I know that I could, what I'm looking for is; is it likely that I will, with the current gearing when I go off-road (mainly trails)? Nothing too extreme...Just water holes and such. Thanks for any opinions.

It depends on your axles. If you have the D35 get rid of it and look for a D44 out of a cherokee or a 97+ 8.25 out of a cherokee.
Manual = 4.11
Auto=4.56
Manual = 4.11
