X2.... The kids NOTICE the modification, thus making them pay attention to your vehicle. The adults don't care, therefore don't take notice of where you are. Also it may just be the area in which I live in, but the younger drivers are actually more respectful, courteous, and law-abiding, than the adults. I guess stricter standards for our age group, and hard*** cops that "don't profile" our age group*rolls eyes*. The kids will just give me a Jaw-on-the-floor-look, thumbs up/ wave type deal. I've had adults who I've never even met before in my life pull up close to my vehicle and yell at me, both at stoplights and as I'm driving. But thats no more thanks to the retarded general statute Cherokee's fall under regarding removed doors, at least in Jersey.

Whoa guys, im not attacking teenagers, besides if the teenagers noticed every modded vehicle here where I live than they would surely run into stuff, As far as getting hit without a door being the same as with, i have to say BS, I have responded to accidents where the only thing between a driver and death was the door, doors take alot of the impact.
I'm not attacking going doorless, I'm just trying to understand why one would choose to do this on a DD. Again, i'll say that I understand doing it on a wheeler.
:cheers James

Yes in my pops 73 blazer, doorless and topless, it was great for sure, but I was 10 and we went straight to the pits.
Now that I have seen first hand so many times what the metal around a person can save, i just can't out weigh saftey for more air flow.

Does anyone know what the best tool/setup is for removing these Torx hinge bolts? My ratchet won't fit in there so I am thinking of using a screwdriver Torx T40 bit and a set of vice-grips to turn it. I also came across this tool on eBaY:
http://cgi.ebay.com/Bondhus-T40-Torx...3286.m20.l1116
Thanks!

I can understand where you're coming from on that. I flipped and rolled my 04 cavalier down a ditch, over a berm, through some trees, and back into the ditch around 45 mph and crawled out as it sat on it's roof. (it was totaled btw) but I make sure to adjust my speed and road choice accordingly. I try to take the back roads and take my time, enjoying the breeze and scenery. And I just fold my rear seat down and put my doors in the back so if things get sketchy I can just pull over and put em back on. I guess it's all about personal preference.
