good battery, just replaced alternator, i need help

I had similar issues with my 01 I bought used
I had a parasitic drain(overhead dome light)
it had a HD battery, but over 3 yrs old
I bought a brand new Sears Platinum gell cell battery $250.00(4 yr warranty)
I have also replaced alternator, bad bearing, finally seized up a few weeks ago
replaced with new O Riellys new unit No electrical issues since!
