My buddies XJ is an a 9/96 build and is 96 and mine is an 8/95 build and also a 96 so they had quite the production run. His has allot of 97 components under the hood though.

But to the OP stay far away from the 96. Try to find yourself a nice 98 or 99. Or a cherry 95 if one still exists.
