I have heard good reports on the newer Rancho RS5000X and I think that is what I will get when I replace the Gabriel Reds I put on my XJ when I bought it. The X versions are supposed to ride much better than the original RS5000 shocks did, and not much more expensive than Sensatrac or other shocks that are a step up from basics.
