2000 isnt that bad if it really has that maintenance on it, but keep in mind he's trying to sell you something. with 193000 on it any engine could be risky, unless you know for a sure fact that he has taken care of it. You might get him to let you drive it before you buy it, and make sure it has no vibrations, running tendancies, etc... I mean yeah those modifications are a deal, but if you end up replacing the engine in a year or so what is it worth to you? I'm just saying be careful and dont just jump into it.

I paid 1,300 for my 98 Classic with 143K (at the time) all it needed was a header and new freeze plugs....Mine was a exception though...right place at the right time with cash....

Got my first jeep a couple months back....Love it!! It's a 00 XJ Sport, had 135000 mi., Bone Stock, Excellent Interior (power everything), Excellent Body with no accidents & absolutely NO rust. Down side, it had been run HOT and needed an engine and was in need of tires. UPSIDE, I got it for $700.00
The best advise I can offer is, as a rule don't buy the first thing you 'fall in love' with....you may have a different opinion when morning comes.
