Default Got a strange one. At a loss

Having an issue with my Heep that is just weird. My CEL usually stays on due to a cat code (can't remember which exact code). Like three weeks ago I was cruising home from work when my engine lost power for a split second, the CEL disappeared and the Jeep ran fine again with no CEL. After a week or so the CEL came back on but everything ran as normal. Today on my way home the same thing happened lost power for a second, CEL went away and she runs fine. Where do I even begin to look for what is causing this issue.

Are the O2 wires on the exhaust? Melting through insulation and grounding/shorting out?

I replaced both o2 sensors a few months back and made sure to zip tie everything up good. I'll take a look at it tomorrow just to be sure. Thanks

It sounds like you're losing power to the PCM momentarily and it's resetting the CEL.

Any common problem areas to check other than the PCM connectors them selves?

PCM contains non-volatile flash mem, can't be cleared by removing power, only by over writing.

Checked the o2 wires and all is good. Had it scanned and it came up with no codes. I don't understand how the computer can reset itself and clear codes? Could this be my PCM poopin out?

Are all grounds connected and in good condition?

All that I know of I gave it a good looking over and wire wiggling the other day. Everything looks good.

Yes, but are the grounds making good contact? Are they in good shape?

Check it for codes again.
