Does anyone know how many Gray RFID keys can be programmed to the XJ's computer, if you have the SKIM system?

Any leads on where to get the Gray RFID key blanks, with the "Jeep" logo?

So as usual just guessing.
These are the 3 part numbers for keys in my '00 parts catalog.

5010366AA
5013807AA Century ‘Jeep‘
5013809AA Oval Key
Now the one thing I feel pretty confident about is the 3rd one is just a regular key.

They are black and they are too cheap. LOL.
I thought the second one might be the ticket cause of the picture. And cause the Ebay link says "Transponder Key".

But unfortunately Googling the first one muddied the waters.
They appear to be transponder keys, not a Jeep logo but Chrysler, and the new part number appears to be 5018869AA.

You do an amazing job at digging stuff up. I keep forgetting about dealer websites. So, with the link you provided & the information I put in, I came up with this part number, based on my specific application.

5018699AD

1999 Jeep Cherokee Orvis XJ, 4x4, 4 door, RHD.

I'm thinking the best thing I can do, is call them with my VIN & have some blank keys sent to me, providing they have what I'm looking for.

I keep on forgetting where you are and what you own.
They don't mention anything about RHD or LHD in the "Lock Cylinder And Keys" section.
And while they do give part numbers for RHD's here and there in my parts catalogs I always figured they were not as thorough on listing the RHD parts as they could be.
But it never would have occurred to me that RHD as far as the key goes matters.
Until I Googled the part number you posted.

Haha, I forget too. I'm working on trying to get back to the UK, for a brief bit, to make the Orvis XJ more reliable for a road trip. I learn afew things & get some WTFs going on, in figuring out what parts I need. In learning to drive a RHD XJ, it was odd to start the XJ with my right hand on the ignition key & then wanting to move my right hand to the gear shifter, but I only found the interior door handle. Backing up & looking over my right shoulder didn't help.

We recently purchased two keys for our 2001 limited. We went to the dealership to have the keys cut and programmed. The dealership needed the key we had in order to program the new keys. Cost about $72.00US each for the keys and another $85.00 to program them.
