Default Grinding sound from drive train

A grinding sound comes from the drive train (not engine) after car after diving 10-15 min. after starting with cold engine. The sound seems to come from the front.

The sound is thin and not loud and doesn't go away before car i cold again.

Any ideas?

Get it up on jack stands and start moving parts by hand to see where the sound is coming from. Spin tires, rotate drive shafts, etc.

A mechanic's stethoscope is a good thing to have. Cheap, too.
