Have a 2001 V8 Xj for parts. Drive a 97 V8 XJ..
The 97 has the dreaded death wobble...Will the front, and/or rear suspension components interchange from my 2001 V8 XJ? The body appears to be a bit different between the two, How about engine parts? Radiator? etc? The 97 has very low mileage, and is a pretty nice unit overall. The 2001 was acquired from a property cleanup I did, has no paperwork, catalytic is MIA, but it's a nice ride, for parts. I am mainly hoping all of the control arms will swap over, as well as shocks, dampener, etc. They are both "Limited" models. Thank you ahead of time
UPDATE...Seems I got a bit ahead of myself. These are both Grand Cherokee Limited vehicles. Evidently they are Zj and not Xj models. Please accept my correction and Feel free to give a bit of your Jeep knowledge. Thanks

The 2001 is actually a WJ, your best bet is to just figure out what is worn out on the ZJ and replace it. Steering dampener might work, along with the shocks, but i doubt the control arms and springs are the same. I dont know too much about the WJ but the engine and trans may swap, i doubt the rad is the same. there are dedicated ZJ and WJ threads on this site. Someone there may be able to help.

WJ LCA's are a known upgrade as are the brakes.
The (front) seats probably fit, as both a recognised XJ mods - although ZJ's are reckoned to be the best.
The rads are different & although the engines are the same they're not interchangeable; I think the casting's different where the mounts attach.
I think the manuals are the same - but not the autos aren't, but the transfer case will swap
