HELP!!! I need to know the locations of the two different head bolts. Please help me. Thanks

This is on a 98. I have all studs on one side, regular bolts on the other with 2 odd ball studs

Oops. Spot 1 and 13.

One is for the heater core hoses, I remember that much.

These head bolts are under the valve cover so I don't see how that could be

Man with all the head gasket change out nobody can answer this for me?

Sounds like I dont remember then. Sorry about that.

I tried the Google but that did not help. If all else fails I will pull the valve cover and let you know.

It might be different on the later year jeeps

Only had to do one head gasket on a jeep and that was years ago. If I remember right all studs go on the drivers side the 2 odd ones go on the left side ends. I think well if you put them in wrong you can't get the valve cover on.

I did the head gasket on mine over summer but I uber failed you on this. I hope someone smarter than me can chime in.
