Define "nicer". It is easy to install, isn't it? You're gonna like it. Gotta be dark there now. How is it?

It is good. I have H4 headlights, and i painted them with the Angry eyes... lol. Yeah, I can definatley see about 50 percent better with it in, and yeah, definatley easy to install. I agree that everyone with an older jeep should do that easy mod...

Installed the Putco harness per instructions, which was pretty simple. I fired them up for a test and they seemed brighter with the stock bulbs. Then I tried the high beams and nothing. Then not even low beams work. I uninstalled the harness and went back to stock and everything works in the stock configuration. I'll try the Putco harness again when I have more time this weekend.

I spent a little more time working on my Putco harness upgrade today. I took the time to scrape the paint off at my ground points and double checked all the connections. Guess what? It worked like a champ even with the stock headlights!! I can't wait to upgrade to better headlights now that the wiring can handle it. Thanks to everyone for their help! This forum is the best!

I put my harness in yesterday. Install was fairly simple, and it took about 45 minutes to do it all. Everything seemed to work fine, and on my trip home last night my lights stayed on the whole time!!! I was having issues with the lights turning off after having the brights on for an extended amount of time.
It was defiantly worth the money, and would recommend this to anyone with headlight issues.

Just ponied up $30 for the PUTCO harness. The 5 main upgrade made a significant increase in light out put. Been running the CIBIE E-codes for 3 years with no issues I can't believe I waited this long to do this.
Here is 1 sealed beam 1 Cibie w/Osram 55/60 Upgraded 5 mains

I'm yet to get the harness, i had ordered it just before I posted. My bad for not being to clear on that.
That pic above is with the stock harness w/one sealed beam and one Cibie E-code w/55/60 Osram bulb. The impprovement was so vast that I felt no need to upgrade the harness, but it's now time. I"m tempted to get some higher wattage bulbs but that will have to wait till next check.
