Headlight plunger pulled right out!
Hey folks, couldn't find an issue like mine so I will ask here. Went to turn on headlights last night and the plunger pulled right out of the switch. will go back in but will not turn on lights because it comes out. The nub on the end is still there, so it did not break off inside. Any ideas? Do I need a new switch or just a new plunger? headlights didnt burn out or anything, still functional. Cannot use them though!

Thanks I bought a new switch and that held in the plunger, all fixed. It dims and such, so we are good there. New problem though.
Now neither headlamps will illuminate. Its not possible they both went out at the same time right? The high beam switch won't work and the plunger pulled all the way back only has the driving lights illuminated. Any ideas? Thanks.
New part installed:
When I pull the high beam there is no dash light indicating it:
Plunger pulled all the way out but no headlamps on

Sounds like ***** not all the way in. You get one click or two when pulled out....
