So let's talk Trucklite LEDs. After reading up on them all day yesterday, I convinced myself to pull the trigger on them today.
Question, I know they draw less amperage than even the stock beams being that they're LEDs so they will work great without the upgraded harness. My question, since I already have the harness, am I going to get any additional benefit using the harness? Or is there going to be no added benefit from stock wiring?
Ideally, I'd like to do away with the upgraded harness, only because I have quite a few things running off the battery and I'd be happy to clean it up a little.
I can easily do some tests with and without em once they come in but wanted to see what people thought

Installed the rampage headlights today. Easy painless job. Only took half a beer and some bug spray. The difference is literally night and day

I kept my harness in, just because I didn't want to rip it back out after I spent all the time hiding the wire and securing it. Can't hurt to keep it in there...

Bought the rampage headlights on amazon. Easy plug in installation. Around $80. Took me a min to figure out to bend the inside if the headlight bezel bracket tabs to get the lights to fit in because of the new rubber grommet on the back of the housings. And the driving lights are from autozone

I can't get my damn headlights aimed right. The low beams are ok, I can mess with them more. But I think the 100w hi's are a little tricky. They always look like the beams are crossed, and now the driver side one doesn't even look like its on. (It is though.) Lol.
Just thought to anyone looking at 100w hi beams. They're tricky.
