No worries. I know personally when I search for stuff, sometimes I have questions, and its nice to post and ask.

Again, just my $02. Not my call either way.

Tomorrow I'll be throwing in my LBC harness and some new housings. they are black, projector style with 2 blue lights inside. I didn't realize they had the blue light inside, I'll probably wire them to the parking lights. That might be a bad idea, don't know of the legality of a blinking blue light in my headlight with turn signal... but it shouldn't be that noticeable with headlights on.

Ill post pics of the install of the harness. I'm just replacing my old H4 housings b/c housings are cheap and I am bored. That will help make this more write-up-ish. For those who care, stay tuned

Here's some pics. Lmc harness is a cinch. Everything is labeled and there's no extra length of wire. You just fish it into headlamp slots, ground it out, power it, connect to passenger side headlamp female connector, ziptie the cable, and secure your relays. Easy ground spots along the front frame of engine compartment, and my kicker battery clamp is awesome for all the power cords that are accruing.

Whereas the new housings look badass, they emit no light. Maybe because they are black, or projector style. They are made for h4s so I'm confused as to why they suck so bad. I have my other set, ill use those. I was replacing them because I lost the rear cap for one. Maybe 100w bulbs will work will the black ones. I'll look for some info as I really love the look. I drove home from devils tower with my fog lights and led light bar as my headlights were useless.

What's that? Oh, this is my hundredth post? Sickkkk.
I'm sure it's the housings are sold as h4 and intended for hid retrofit. Another forum member used then and ended up going back to sealed housings. Too bad because they are sweet. Unfortunately, when it comes to headlights its not an option of form over function

So I have my Autopal headlights and Putco harness. Now my next question is do I need 100/90W headlight bulbs to use with the harness or will the 60/55W ones that came with the lights work. The harness says 100/90W, I dont want to overpower anything.

I put the Autopal lights in today and will see how well they work tonight.
Installation was a breeze once I freed up the rusted screws.

Use whatever wattage bulbs you want, up to 100 watt.

So, tonight coming back from buffalo, wy to Gillette, wy I had my upgraded high beams on and saw a 6 point buck standing in the lane- so clearly that, at first, I didn't slow down. As far as I'm considered the upgrades have paid for themselves. My hella 550s spot the sides of the road and my h4s blaze at least 16 delineators down the road.
