Headlights turn off when using turn signal
Hello, I am new here, and long story short, I bought a 2000 Jeep Cherokee to learn more about auto mechanics (attempt to be come self reliant) and to get back into offloading. .
Here is my issue:
When I have my head lights on (low or high beam) on and turn on my passenger side (right) turn signal, both of the headlights turn off, until the turn signal is off. It only does this when I turn on the passenger side turn signal though.
I have replaced the headlight switch, which was suggested by the previous owner, but this did not solve the issue. Could it be the turn signal relay? I have been stumped, and cant find any trouble shooting ideas online. Any advice or trouble shooting methods would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you for your time.
