Headlights wont illuminate after new switch.
First off the headlight switch broke. I bought a new switch and that held in the plunger, all fixed. It dims and such, so we are good there. New problem though.
Now neither headlamps will illuminate. Its not possible they both went out at the same time right? The high beam switch won't work and the plunger pulled all the way back only has the driving lights illuminated. Any ideas? Thanks.
New part installed: Attachment 300671
When I pull the high beam there is no dash light indicating it: Attachment 300669
Plunger pulled all the way out but no headlamps on Attachment 300670

How are the wires going into the jack that plugs on the back of the switch? Any burnt? On my zj, which is different, the main wire from the fuse to the switch had burnt clean through about 6 inches from the jack.

First thing to do is check your fuse for the headlights.
If that's good..... Well, it's quite possible they both died at the same time.
Don't assume - disconnect the headlight connector and use some jumpers to put 12 right to the headlight contacts. If they don't light, replace them.
If they do light, time to re-check your work. You might not have the switch connected properly, or you may have broken some wiring while doing the replacement.

Yeah, I would put a multimeter on the headlight harness and see if the lights are getting voltage, almost surely they aren't (highly unlikely to burn out both headlight bulbs at the same time)
Jumper the lights to the battery and see if it illuminates, that will tell you the light is good for sure.
Headlight fuse is one likely culprit. Did you get the plunger correctly installed in the new switch? It might be worth removing it and re-seating it to be 100% sure
