Headliner?

Headliner?
Hey y'all I've been needing a new headliner since I bought the jeep. My questions are how does one remove the dome light. Where can I get the material. What's a good adhesive. I have some experience with carpet like material and spray adhesives.
Here's pic of headliner now
Here's a couple of the dome light
And one of the jeep

There's a very great write on jeepforum I believe. There also a good one here as one pops up about every month. I did mine in one evening, paid about 65 dollars and got everything from my local johann fabrics. Here's quicks run down, pull headliner board out, use sanding sponge and spatula to scrap it all back down to what looks like a spider web(factory glue. Spray glue the whole way across side to side and about 2 feet length wise.. wait 10-15 mins for tacky-ness and Place new fabric on top and rub from middle out. Make sure you wait or it will not stick. Use sharp blade and trim edges when completely done. Reinstall

I pulled them off with a pair of needle nose pliers. I bought my fabric at Joanne's fabrics, I couldn't find it anywhere else. They lady screwed up and charged me $5 for like a yard and a half of it. Three cans of orange spray adhesive from advanced, but I also redid my consoles. So maybe you could use two, be sure to wait like 4-5 mins after you thoroughly spray the glue on both the clean board and fabric. If you don't wait it may not stick AND the glue could bleed through the fabric. Oh, and where gloves when you spray it. Go for it!

I got my material at Jo Ann fabrics for $35. Paid $10 for a can of adhesive at AutoZone (3M brand). Took me about 2 hours start to finish with removal of board, cleaning old foam off, and applying new liner material. There is a pretty good video on youtube of a kid redoing his. Just make sure you let your adhesive get tacky 5-8 minutes before you try to apply. I had enough adhesive to do the speaker bar too.

Check out my profile, I have personally replaced mine while adding an overhead console and rear speaker bar. But seriously save urself $75 and do It yourself and have the pride of being able to say, "ya I did that". Seriously it's way easier than you think. I did mine in a hotel parking lot and hotel room while I was in Des Moines, IA.

I like that but I don't think my wal mart carries material that big. I've used the smaller rolls to wrap my subwoofer box a couple years back

Also, do it yourself! If you dont I guarantee you will regret it. Every time someone gets into my jeep they ask if I did it myself and I proudly get to say that I did.
When I first started to lay the material down I got kind of nervous for about 5 seconds then I realized how easy it was gonna be. I just had my dad and brothers hold it up and I used a paint roller to put it down.
