Heat/AC fan control
just started happening yesterday.. i had the fan on position 3 and then turned it to position 4(high) and when i went back to 3 it doesnt blow...it only blows on 4 now..no 1 2 or 3. would that be a fan prob or just the control?
Thanks

Blower motor resistor. it allplies resistance on 1-3 to slow it down and is bypassed on 4, which is why it works on 4. I think its under the glovebox somewhere and pretty cheap. under $20 IIRC

It is a very simple fix. And, It is located under the passenger side behind the glove box.

Just replaced my blower resistor a week ago. You'll need to remove the kick panel to exposed the plug and resistor. Be sure the air flow in not blocked, else you'll be replacing it again soon. Needs cool air to remove the heat from the resistor.
Best price I found was Amazon, ~$18, otherwise $50.

Hey, this is great - I am having the same issue! Heat only works on high lol
Maybe this is related (not meaning to crash the thread!) - mine also only works on defrost? Vent, floor, mix, etc...if selected it still blows defrost....

The vac leak can be anywhere from the vac ball behind the front bumper pass side all the way to the fire wall. As for a clog, It's can also be the blend door is sticking.
