So I am thinking you just need the switches? Your bezel is OK?
Anyway so check this out. These are the part numbers for the switches.
Right 56010135AB
https://www.factorychryslerparts.com...6010135AB.html
Left 56010136AB
https://www.factorychryslerparts.com...6010136AB.html
So at those links click on What This Fits and then Show More.
This is supposedly every Mopar that this switch was used in.
Come in handy if you have to resort to a boneyard search.
They show up Ebay from time to time too. Both switches and the bezel together. They are not usually cheap.
Want to say $50 and up when they do appear. Ones with pigtails are even more.
You can also find single switches being sold from time to time. Thinking at least $10 and up.
I don't believe Jeep Liberty switches will work. You will see them on Ebay. I believe there to be an extra post in those switches.
Then do look the same though. But I can't confirm that one way or the other.
Have no idea what you plans are for this Jeep. But you might want to take a look at this:

WOW! Very useful info - Thank you!! My plan is to drive this beast until it refuses to go anymore lol.
Heated seats are my one pleasantry that I "need" - my boyfriend laughs at me, but cozy tush = happy girlfriend and I can't stand having the heat on in the car (yes, I know its weird - but to each their own lol). If its nice this weekend I'll try popping off the bezel and checking the wires are all good as you noted above (& reassemble my current switch that's hanging out in the cup holder).
I'm pretty sure I also have a broken wire in the drivers seat as well but before I even delve into there, I wanted to see if I could get the switches working at all.

Just so you know the heating element is not a pad in the seat but a wire which is actually part of the seat cover.
That set of heated seats you see shots of earlier in the thread I picked up for $80. Was a bit of a trip to get them.
I had one piece manual buckets and swapped out to removable headrest seats with power on the driver's side first.
Then I got those heated seats which let me put a power base on the passenger side. Unfortunately the heaters in the bottoms
of both those seats don't work. Also the seats are really shot. And because the wire is actually in the seat cover I did not
put them in. But trying to figure out a way to accomplish that. I have all sorts of stupid ideas on how I might accomplish this.
Some that might cause my Jeep to burst into flames. LOL.
Most times a broken wire. Soldering will work but the wire could break in other places down the road.
But you might get lucky with just switches.
Also here is a shot of one of my seats that I just ripped the foam off of to expose the heating element in there. Give you an
idea of what you might be in for.

Yeah I'm having a bit of a reality check that the one thing I may want, I may not be able to get working lol. But I am a girl DETERMINED!
I can fix a lot of the little things that come with an older car with those links!
This thread was great because I haven't been able to find a ton of info on the heated seats in a Cherokee as they weren't very common (that said - if I want to rewire my radio.. now there seems to be a TON of threads on that lol).
The guy who owned the truck was nice enough but many things were fixed with electric tape - as in just put tape over and live without it. Under the hood, under the truck, in the truck...
My mechanic gave me a a huge break in his love for old Cherokees and he fixed a ton of stuff and a lot of the little things for me.
I even thought as you did that maybe I could just find a set and replace them - but I it sounds like they are pretty notorious for issues?

BTW - I have a friend who's an electrical engineer. Next time he's in town, I'm going to poke his brain for ideas.
With all of the heating add-ons they have now I can't imagine one of them can't be added to the seats under the leather and wired to switches!
Everything I've suggested to date, my boyfriend shakes his head and notes that I'm a fire hazard.
If my friend comes up with something interesting, I'll post it here.

See if anybody might know what can and can't be done
To be frank with you buy some aftermarket ones and call it a day.
My issue is I am trying to keep my Jeep Jeep.
Saying that if I could buy aftermarket ones with the harness, cut off their switches,
and use the factory ones I would be OK with that. The aftermarket harness would be
hidden under the seat so nobody would know and it would still look factory cause of the
switches. Only thing about this idea is that the switches would not illuminate when you
turn on your headlights. But there might be a way to do that to.
Can this be done? Not a clue.
This is one of my dumb ideas on how to accomplish this.
Anyway best of luck and don't forget to post with pictures if you attempt to fix the heated seats.

Would not mind running my dumb ideas him past either.
Can almost imagine the look I would get though. LOL.
I am pretty clueless when it comes to electrical so that
is not helping.

Will do! I'd rather stay true to form as well but worst case I may do an after market heated seat system - then either try to wire them to the actual switches (preferred) or add a rocker box for their switch (so I don't light myself up or set off the airbags - don't ask me, I just keep seeing a warning lol) - if I go that route its a nice set up to add a few other "toys". More to come!!
Thanks again for your help!!

Does anyone know where i can get one of these? I have a 2000 limited and it has heated seats. I can’t find a heated seat console switch anywhere? Or does anyone know a substitute I could use? After that I’ll be returning to this column to move to stage two (fixing the heater in the drivers seat
