I last night I was driving to the store and the heat was working, but on the way back I didn't have anything but cold air? Any ideas??

The one thing that springs to mind; head gasket blew. Ouch.

Devil's in the details.....heater control valve functioning correctly (vacuum hose still attached)? Vacuum hose under the dash broke/slipped off? Both heater hoses at the firewall hot (motor running)?
