Question HEATER PROBLEM?

ok so today i changed out my thermostat to a 205f so my engine could get to temp, well it kinda worked but it seems like the heater is not giving me all it can, also i have already cleaned out the core and the lines are new, any other suggestions?

Some Jeeps have a valve that closes to prevent water from entering the heater core. If yours has that, you might check to see if it's working properly. Maybe it's stuck closed or clogged.

x2, need to know the year of your jeep to know which setup it has. BTW, 205 is a hotter than stock thermostat...

Stock is 195 degrees for all weather

You should have a heater control valve correct? If you redid all the lines, there is a chance you forgot to hook the vacuum line back up, or the valve is jacked up as suggested above.

I believe the 90 did have the vacuum operated valve in the heater core hoses that redirected coolant.

If you put a 180 t-stat in would that affect the heater.
