Heatercore housing seals
Soo I'm replacing my Heatercore and most of the foam seals on the housing are pretty trashed. Most of the auto parts stores told me they had nothin that would work for the seals besides this foam weathestripping. Anyone got any ideas or has done this before? Mine xj is a 90

I just replaced my heater core last weekend and had the same issue. I used weather stripping from home depot - the kind that has a sticky side. Thickness was 3/16" and width 3/8". I put two strips (side by side) all the way around the heater core. It fit perfectly snug, and my xj is blasting heat!
Hope this helps.
