help
I removed my stock fender flares and the inner fender trim fell apart do I need to replace it or do I just leave it open. Also dirt is getting in the door hinges

um... rubber strips for the doors? The inner fender plastic is there to keep rocks and crap out from inside... if you don't mind it not there then it's no big deal... for the door hinges I would look at making some seals... my 00 doesn't have any that I could find on it.

This is a common practice, take pool noodles cut to length and stuff them in there. Eventually water will get inside. I also used great stuff expanding spray foam to help seal it all ip

I don't know if you can do this with lawn edging! I cut my fenders and moved the factory flairs up, then made a template with a piece of cardboard. I then traced the template onto 2 pieces of diamond aluminum plate and spent probably 2 hours getting the compound curves to match the spot that i wanted them in. When i made the pattern i also included a tab that i bent at the bottom to screw into the bottom of the fender.
You can just see the tab here, the rest of the flap is held on with screws in the flairs.
