So i just got home went to start her up she started and went to a high rev again :/ i don't get it... pretty much stumped, there are no vaccum leaks no gaps new iac valve throttle body is clean. I'm stumped. Any one else have any more ideas? Also she doesn't run long enough to get codes... when i disconnect the maf sensor it goes to start then dies, but then if i were to hit the gas shell rev a little bit then go to die so i pretty much have to keep hitting the gas to keep her going, and i get white smoke coming out my pipes.

Try to reset the ecm or try another one from a junk yard

Try checking your relays
Auto choke/shutdown
Idle speed control
And throttle control
There are more relays in the dash under the steering wheel in a big black box

Checked everything, looked at it, all looks good. Also changed the iac sensor, and i reset the ecm and now i'm getting the p0505 error again. it's a brand new sensor, did i do something wrong? any more ideas? i had also cleared the error codes before. so it got rid of the p0108 code.

Sure sounds like your IAC is doing whatever the heck it wants instead of what the PCM tells it to do. Next thing I'd check is the wiring from the IAC back to the PCM for breaks or shorts.
