Hi guys,

I recently converted my Jeep to an open cooling system. After I got it back together when I would shut the hood (only happened twice) but I would hear some static noise from under the hood. It sounded like it was coming from the battery terminal but I'm not sure. I adjusted the terminal and lowered it some and it went away.

However in the interim I noticed immediately that my underhood light and my front fog lights didn't work. Both worked just fine before the static noise. Light on the switch still comes on.

I also noticed today that my power seats are no longer working either.

I am not an electrical guru by any means but I'm curious as to why all of this happened after I did my conversion and if there are relays/fuses that I should start by checking?

Wanted to come back and update this thread. It was a blown fusible link as @cruiser54 said above. Replaced with another and it was an easy fix.
