If you want to change your diff. fluid you just pull your cover. Get a book on it for a few bucks at any parts store and it will show you step by step. its really easy. Its just some bolts and a gasket and some sealent and your done. what rearend do you have and Do you have LSD?

lsd is a limited slip differential. Sometimes called positraction. It's gear lube that you need to refill the diff. 80w-90 I believe. I've always just filled diffs with lucas oil. It's really thick though so it's kinda a pita. One thing I've always done before taking a diff cover off is to check and make sure you can get the fill plug out. Otherwise you'll be fighting with a rig you can't drive for a while trying to get it off.

When you are stuck in the mud snow whatever does just one wheel spin or both on that axle?

nobody can just tell you if you lave a lsd in your jeep. you will either have to test it yourself or contact http://www.jeep.com/wccsapp/universa...ull&category=U and sent them your vin and they will get back to you with what your jeep came equipped with.
