help 87 XJ heater control valve broken
Today I decided to flush out the heater core and when I was putting it back together the plastic part of the heater control valve where it contects to the inlet hose for the heater core cracked at the hose clamp. It is all connected with the factory metal tubing on this closed system.
Does anyone know where I can get a new heater control valve besides the junk yard?
Also has anyone just eliminated the heater control valve from this closed system and how does it work?

You can just go pick up a heater control valve at any auto store! I broke mine the same way, so i went to the local Auto Zone and they had 3 of them on the shelf. It wasn't very expensive either if i remember right.
