help. got code 27

help. got code 27
Okay so i have a 96 and i got the check engine light turns out code 27. Replaced injector number 2 still have acceleration problem but only once it hits 3k+ rpm please help took me forever to find out i had this prob changed injector no fix.. Gunna cry

Code #27 is kind of a generic injector code; any particular reason why you replaced the #2 injector? And if it's a 96, get an actual OBDII code reader to see if you can get a more specific code.
I'd start by unplugging each injector one by one to see if you can isolate a single injector issue. Also measure the resistance of each injector to see if any are out of spec.
Then inspect every inch of wiring associated with fuel injectors.
If everything else checks out, it is possible that your problem is within the computer. Replacing a computer is always a "diagnosis of exclusion" meaning everything else should be ruled out first. If you end up replacing the computer, I highly recommend you source a computer from a salvage yard. It's by far the most economical way to replace a computer and since the computer is pretty reliable, I have had very good success with salvage yard units.

So the new- TPS, IAC, new downstream o2, new wires, spark plugs fairly new looked ok, not sure about cap and rotor, still have check engine light same code, and i got it plugged in at the auto parts store same code both saying cylinder 2 possibly something about number 2 circuit not sure how to check that. I have a meter not sure how to set it to check injectors or where to start I'm not to good with electrical haha

OBDII you should be able to download a complete PXXXX code, which is more specific and helpful than the 2 digit code (27).

So i reset ECU and Cel is gone just coolant temp sensor Cel bout to replace that had it again at auto zone and no 27. It accelerates a **** load better. Still running a little rough gonna clean or replace the rest of my injectors.
