Seriously guys, she needs someone with experience there, in person. Its great that she wants to learn and is willing to do the work on her own, but the extreme lack of basic knowledge is going to get her hurt (or break more on the jeep at the very least).

I understand that up until now you've done all the work on this thing, but that does not mean that it was done right or that you are in the position to dig this deep. I would strongly suggest getting a person there that has more mechanical and electrical knowledge before going any further.

Ok, so I will go to the run position, put the meter on the negative battery lead while checking the fuses with the positive meter wire.

Take each fuse out?

No.

If you look at the fuse you'll see a small contact in the top of the fuse. If you touch the lead to that contact you should show 12 volts on some of the fuses.

How to check by the drivers side? I can't keep the meter at the battery. Wires aren't long enough

There all good as in power on both sides ? Now do fuse panel inside by left foot area drivers side ? stick black probe to metal some where under there .

The ONLY thing I can think of that could have caused all of your symptoms that you explained in the first post of your thread is the ignition switch. Not the lock cylinder... the ignition switch. The switch on top of the steering column.

Last ditch effort of blind diagnosis... pull it out and look at it. Or at least climb under there and look at it.

The ones under the hood were all good. Had it set to DC 10
Trying to find a video that will show me how to check fuses on the driver side but can't find one that uses my multimeter.
