Just stick the black wire to something metal (The inside of the cigarette lighter) and do the same thing you did under the hood.

Pretty sure she changed it not long ago it should show if theres power issues in fuse box .

Only difference between under hood and under dash is were you put black probe every thing else is gonna be the same . Try sticking it on the door hinge may have to scrape into paint a little .

Eh, assuming she checked the fuses correctly.

DC 10. The only difference is the voltage range it's measuring. DC 250 measure from 0-250 volts. DC10 measures from 0-10 volts. When it's set on 10 it's actually measuring 12.xx volts so it's pegging the meter out.

Ignition switch has no effect on pdc, its very possible plug on switch could be the smell she had when issue arose.

You pm messages are full you need to empty them . Answer to last message here ....You checked for spark with a screw driver I hope not meter. Checking fuses meters set to 10 needle should swing all the way to right confirming power in and out of fuses .

Alright guys. One fuse is out. Top right "5". Now, I checked both metal dots on the top and they are dead but there are 2 others where just one metal dot is dead and the other one is good. Please interpret

Yes I checked for spark with rusty screwdrivers-does that matter?

If it tests nothing on both sides means it just doesn't have power on it.

If it test good on one side but not the other means the fuse is bad and needs to be replaced.

Tho, I'm not aware of any fuse that's under the dash that'd prevent the engine from running.
