well i did try the rear...but it didnt work since half of it was under thick **** and plus i was afraid i would rip the axle out....so we wrapped a chain around the frame...i think (where you bolt tow hitch on) on the far side where it was stuck in the rear and pulled back to the left...

oh when i did that same thing with no recovery points, we ended up using the sway bar!!! worked didnt bend or nothin, for witha 390 and 38.5 boggers

DAMN...haha thats crazy...i really need to invest in recovery...
tow hitch, and nates4x4 front bumper for x-mas or birthday (dec 23) and maybe even roof rack...hopefully all three for b-day and xmas...
but next on my list is lift...my tires rub too bad

I base my experience on 22+ years of mired tanks, jeeps and HMMWVs, but whenever you have one side down, like that, it helps to pull the vehicle to the high side with something, as you pull from one end or the other. With mud of that consistency, it's suction, combined with gravity working against you.
So you need an anchor point on the left side of the vehicle, and a comealong or another tow vehicle, as well as someone hooked on the rear, pulling at the same time. Maybe lasso both LH wheels with a tow strap and pull off the middle, or just wrap a flat tow strap around the whole vehicle, and pull off of that while you pull from the rear with another vehicle, or comealong.
