Default help installing push button start on my 88

I am looking to install a push button start on my 1988 jeep Cherokee. I had to replace the ignition switch at the bottom of the steering column and never mounted it back on. Not sure witch two wires I need for the push button. Thanks

You actually need 3 of them. 2 will be for computer /ignition, and the last for the starter

it was such a pain in the butt to get the ignition switch off. I was just being lazy. I figured a push button start would be cool. if I could figure it out. good to no about three wires.

There are threads on this subject -- perhaps in mod tech where you are more likely to find help in modifying your XJ. I think there was a thread just a month or two ago.

Or try Google -- been covered many times in other forums.

All ya gotta do is run a wire from battery to switch then switch to small wire on starter with a inline fuse of course that way your not cutting infactory harness ..
