Help me complete my lift
I recently put a Rustys 3'' suspension lift on my 2000 XJ. Which included front coils, rear leaf packs, new shocks, t-case drop kit. About a month later other things started going (which i was waiting for lol ) It started with the track bar, so i got a relocating bracket, and an adjustable track bar. No problems so far !! And am waiting for my new front end to come in ( ball joints and tie rods.)
I am just wondering what else i should be looking out for....? What else should be replaced BEFORE it breaks... I want my lift to be complete and not have to worry about anything else breaking. Any advice would be greatly appreciated !!!
Thanks.

Front brake lines: unbolt the bolt that holds your hardline in the fender (where the brake line from the caliper joins the hard line) and then bend the hard line straight down. Drill a new hole for the bolt and bolt it up. This extends your front brake lines about 4-6".
Rear brake lines: Look for a 1995 Jeep YJ rear brake line or 1995 Dodge Dakota rear brake line and bolt it up then bleed the system. It's a simple mod to do. You only need one brake line.
at 3" or higher, you need to extend brake lines.

x2^ you might want to look into getting a tie rod from V8 ZJ theyre are solid and hold up alot better then the weak stock ones and since your replacing the tierod ends might as well do the whole thing

If you purchased an adjustable track bar, then why did you get the relocation bracket? That is the purpose of the adjustable bar. The relocation brackets change the stress point on the axle mount and can cause it to bend or break when wheeling. It's like putting a cheater pipe on a ratchet for better leverage.

you should check the hubs to make sure they're still in good shape. while you're there find a ZJ with anti-lock brakes. the axle shafts should fit right in and they're beefier then the stock ones in a D30 that has no ABS. thats what i did with mine and i haven't had any problems out of it. put some powerslot rotors on that thing with some EBC pads. then go ahead and do a rear drum to disc conversion.
