Angry help with my back hazards!!!

Please can some one help me with my 1999 grand cherokee. My back hazards wont stop flashing even when its all off and locked up. The breakdown people removed my indicator relay so now i have no indicators at all, but at least im not flashing. man in garage doesnt know how to fix it!! any ideas anyone

A bad switch is the only thing I can think of. It is off right?! lol

My switch has been taken out so i dont get a flat battery. thought id turn to the forum to ask the experts. some one mentioned the alarm?? i havent got a clue didnt know if anyone had heard of this problem before

You said they took out the relay...did they remove the switch too (at the steering column)??

haha. If the flashers aren't going off, its a good bet your switch is stuck on. Try (with the relay back in) switching them on and off 4-5 times. If they're still on change the switch.
If that doesn't work it probably IS possessed!

thanks hun i will try, just cant work out why its only the two right at the back and none of the front or side ones. its been in the local garage all week and he hasnt got a clue what to do with it, he says ive got to go to a main dealer as it could be to do with the alarm system?? thanks for your help think you lot are the experts!!!

Hold on...back up! I didn't catch that its just the BACK ones that won't go off. Wow! That is weird. I would still check the switch and get a new relay, but that sounds more like a short circut somewhere.

Sorry for not catching that before. Anyone else have any ideas???
