Default Help with my check engine light

My check engine light keeps coming on and the code it gives says manufacturers ignition system. I have replaced the following :
1. Champion spark plugs
2. Plug wires
3. Ignition coil
4. Distributor, cap & rotary
5. A sensor on the bell housing
6. Fuel pump
I unhooked my battery cable overnight and when i cranked it the 3rd time the check engine light came back on. The engine turns over 10-12 times before it finally cranks. You can smell gas when it finally starts and my mpg is down to 10.8 and i dont know what else to do.

I think the first thing I'd look into is the timing. When a distributor is replaced it only has to be one tooth off to cause problems.

Check the gas line between the tank and the fuel filter right there above the rear tire I had a pinhole in mine and my Jeep did the same thing its a 96 Sport 4.0 inline 6 and it evaded me for days until it finally leaked enough to make a puddle.

This issue started later on after the distributor was replaced.

My Jeep don't have a fuel filter it has a fuel sock in the tank. I've checked all my fuel lines and everything is like it should be. I have great pressure at the engine as well. No one knows what's causing it to not wanna crank. It's almost like it's dumping to much gas and drowning the plugs because when it finally does crank the smell of gas is very strong.

Post the EXACT code here. With OBD codes, the devil is definitely in the details.

If it is on the ignition side like the code says, you could be smelling gas because it cranks for awhile before starting like that.. Maybe the fuel smell is strong because of the excess fuel being put out in the fumes?

I say triple check the cam and crank sensors closely, and then maybe have to move on to checking the coil?

Your engine IS cranking.

It's just not starting.

Cranking is when the starter motor gets the proper juice and starts making the engine go roundy roundy. Cranking does NOT mean the engine runs. Think about what the word actually means instead of just going by what all your buddies say.

What is "great pressure"? What are the numbers? If you haven't tested it with a fuel pressure gauge you have no idea whether it's good or bad. Getting a nice squirting out of the Schrader valve is meaningless. It will do that at 10 psi.

Check your O2 sensor.
