Help with my coolant
So I have a 1991 Cherokee Lerado. I have changed the head gasket and some other stuff to get it started and then coolant started shooting out of the exhaust pipe and I haven’t been able to figure it out. The engine runs fine but it, of course, over heats. I changed the water pump and that didn’t do much. Every time I put more water into the radiator it just pipes out of the back end. Anyone have any idea at all?

And having water/coolant in the exhaust is the only place you have coolant where it's not supposed to be? ie... no mixing with your oil, etc.
Are you sure you got the head gasket seated correctly? I'm wondering if you're not getting it seeping across from a coolant channel from the block and head due to a poor seal and gets right into the cylinder, and blown out the back.
Others may chime in, but that's what comes to mind first.
Also... are you sure that the head itself that you installed back on was not warped at all? Not likely, but if that were the case, you'd probably be more likely to also be getting some coolant into your oil as well.
And do you have the I6 4.0?

Yes I have the four-point no but if all of that coolant was getting into one of the cylinders wouldn’t it sound and act like it is miss firing? It runs perfectly fine.

I know that it is coolant because if I filled the radiator and then started the engine the coolant would shoot out the exhaust pipe like a garden hose but more powerful.

I did the HG because when I bought it the guy said thats what it needed because the coolant was just fogging out the back end. before I did the HG I didn't try to start the engine
