X2. Also something i try and do when i try to rule out a bad starter is turn my headlights on and try to start it. If the headlights go super dim then you may have a good place to start looking. Trust me you will get alot of mix reviews on what to do, and what it might be. There is a couple things that can cause it. Hope you get her going.

I can only offer what I found out on mine when I bought it got it home and in the garage. When I bought it noticed the battery terminals were very corroded so I cleaned them, while do so found a loose ground going from the battery to the fended. At that point I stopped and decided that at its age all of the connections needed to be cleaned up and tightened.
When I finished up late the next day yes it takes quite a while to clean down to bare metal prep the connection then (I use dielectric) for a lot of things. One of the biggest changes that showed right off the bat was my headlights were twice as bright.
This I would guess may not help you for the starting issue but these old Jeeps are just that "OLD"! And things need to be done that most (myself included) didn't think about till I checked a few of them.
