Default HELP!!! No power!

I have a ‘94 Cherokee Country, 4D 2wd. Runs and drives like a champ even after 250,000 miles. I went to get in it this morning to head to work, turn the key, power FLASHES (just once) and then nothing. No power to anything. No interior lights, exterior lights, cluster lights. Just nothing... bummer...I whipped out my volt meter real quick to check the battery, 12.5 volts steady. I didn’t see a blown fuse, but I could have missed it. I just replaced the starter, ignition switch, ignition lock cylinder, neutral safety switch, battery, alternator, spark plugs, coil, basically everything that could go wrong, has gone wrong inside of a year.

SO, any guesses? Just a place to start would be greatly appreciated. She’s my daily driver and I need it up and running again.

Thanks guys!

You can have voltage but not enough amperage through the cables.

How would I test to see if I'm getting proper amperage?

I did some more probing when I got home and found that I'm not getting power anywhere. I mean ANYWHERE. Door locks, drivers seat, not even the fuel pump. It was all working yesterday! Karma...
Anyway, I went through all the fuses in the engine bay, they were all good and intact. None of them were corroded. I switched the position of a couple of the relays to no avail. It just does nothing...
I honestly have no clue what it could be! I work on aircraft for a living, I'm fairly well technically oriented and this has me stumped. I love working on my own vehicles but this one might be above me...
Any grand suggestions? I'm up for anything.
I was about to install some auxiliary lights on the front bumper this weekend, should i hold off on that?

Thank so much!

Also, I put the battery on charge just in case!

Clean and tighten your battery cables.

Yes. Sounds like loose or corroded terminals or bad cables

I JUST replaced both battery terminals about a month ago with some new epoxy painted ones, so they're nice and clean. The negative was a little loose but still seemed to be making good contact. I'm getting power to the fuse box directly behind the battery, but nothing past that. Maybe that box shorted out? I'm gonna try robbing that box off my project Cherokee and swapping it to see if that fixes it.

Update to follow!
Thanks guys!

Update!! I pulled and replaced that relay/fuse box and went ahead and cleaned my battery teriminals and post. After I zapped my self (my bad) It started right up! I guess something in his box shorted out and failed. 25 years, I’d say that’s not too bad. Thanks for your help guys! I really appreciate it! Now to pull-a-part for a replacement for the donor...

i bet it was your negative terminal connection .. if its lose but seems tight its not able to pull a high ampere. something similar with worn battery connectors i had a temperally fix with a nail in between the terminal and the connector just to get home and replaced the connectors.

I dropped the fuse/relay box in my other jeep and same problem. I dunno what went wrong in it over night, really sucks though! Might cut it open if pull-a-part doesn't have a core charge. Really appreciate the help everyone!

there are a few circuits built into the fuse block that once go bad the **** block is junk. no real service can be done unless your good with circuit boards and that kinda stuff. glad you fixed the issue. would love to see what you find when you cut the bad one open
